Cell Phones and Smart Watches

All personal electronic devices — including cell phones, earbuds, headphones and smartwatches, must be stored in backpacks during the school day.
Devices must be off and away from the first bell to the last bell of the school day — including restroom breaks and lunchtime. Requests for exemptions should be discussed with school counselors.
Students may use devices before and after school.
Students may use their phones and watches both before and after school in the front of the school. However,  upon entering school,  students are expected to turn their phones off and put them away in their backpacks.  Students are not at any time permitted to take pictures or capture video of other students, teachers, or staff.
Students who use their cell phone or smart watch without permission will be asked to keep them in the office, where they will be stored in a secure location until school gets out and parents will be notified.
