We recognize that cell phones and smart watches can play a significant part of a student's life, as it allows them to communicate with home.
Students may use their phones and watches both before and after school in the front of the school. However, upon entering school, students are expected to turn their phones off and put them away in their backpacks. Students are not at any time permitted to take pictures or capture video of other students, teachers, or staff.
Students who use their cell phone or smart watch without permission will be asked to keep them in the office, where they will be stored in a secure location until school gets out and parents will be notified.
We ask that parents/guardians place their student's smart watch in 'school mode' to allow only telling time (and calling 9-1-1 if you would like that feature on). Please disable texting, making and receiving phone calls, playing games and accessing the internet during school hours (7:45am-2:20pm).
